Eight new projects for Ukrainian youth organisations under EU-funded Erasmus+ Programme

Eight new projects involving 12 partners from Ukraine have been selected for funding under the European Union Erasmus+ Programme for Capacity Building in the Field of Youth. In total, over €16,9 million have been allocated by the European Commission to the 55 projects selected in the 2025 call for proposals.

Ukrainian organisations will benefit from the experience of European partners, and develop their capacities for internationalisation. They will implement best practices in the field of Youth for building new Ukraine as EU Member State. The projects will also help to cope with the challenges during martial law.

Three higher education institutions and nine civil society organisations have joined the consortia of the Capacity Building in the field of Youth projects as coordinators and partners:

Selected for funding projects will be implemented jointly with partners from 22 counties: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czechia, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine.

EU grants for such projects amount up to EUR 300,000 per projects for 3 years and cover international and local missions – travel and subsistence costs, staff cost, equipment costs and subcontracting as well as costs for dissemination of information, publishing or translation.

As a result of 2024-2025 calls, there are  17 projects for capacity building in youth field supported by European Commission within Erasmus+ with Ukraine in partnerships.
